Spiegel Tic Tac Toe,..
"Play Tic Tac Toe". I was confused when I first read that. Then I realized that hey were referring to the sandals.
At first I thought that since there were three models that they were Tic, Tac and Toe. Silly me!!

Winter Wear...Already?!?!?
Yep, it's not too soon to start planning for winter!!
Those are some heavy looking coats. I just they are getting ready for the global cooling.
From Simpsons Sears in Canada. They probably know a thing or tow about keeping warm in the Great White North..
Like I said, but what about the ol US of A????
Karen and Kathy show us how to stay warm, Sears style.
Yep Kathy in a trench coat.
Lots of Uber Groovy 70s fashion going on here, especially the cap on Kay!!!
From Eatons, yes they do know know to stay warm up there in Oh Canada and do it in boot kicking style!!

Sizzlin Sleepwear, Glamour Gowns
So what is sleepwear that isn;t for sleeping but instead for hosting a party??? Glamour gowns, that's what!!
Yeah, I think it;s a little weird too. I guess the idea is for casual elegance.
So the ideas was of the elegant hostess in robes. I know, I don;t get it either.
Or instead of hosting a party, you could wear them to the beach also!!!
Rande and Peggy finish off this post in style!!

K Club Special Part 49, Kathy Loghry, Part 7
Every year we start out the new year with a K Club Special on Kathy Loghry. Yeah, the blog is generally about her career, but these specials let us go into a little more into detail....
We've had several posts on how Kathy was in the 1968 NCAA Centennial Queen competition This pic was sent later by a reader. Looks like this guy is getting a little too friendly here with the final three contestants.
For those readers that missed those two posts, here are the links. Unfortunately, the links in the first post no longer work.

So after that Kathy started her modeling career in earnest...
A head sheet from Kathy's modeling days courtesy of Chip. Here she is listed as 5' 6''. Hmmm, somehow she grew an inch a few years later according to another head sheet, must have been round off error.
And she appeared in a lot of ads during her career.....
An ad for Saks from the 60s. Is this post turning out to be a black and white only post?!?!?!? Let's get some color in here!!!!
Here's some color to liven things up. There's a whole lot of pink going on in this ad, I may go blind. And honestly, the pink birds look like some cheap SyFy channel horror movie gone wrong!!
Speaking of color...
This is a colorized version of an ad that Kathy appeared in. The ad was featured here a long time ago. Anybody can guess which ad it is??? This version came from the Facebook Page Popular Models of the 60s and 70s. That page has a featured model every month. July was Kathy.
Of course, we know Kathy mainly through her appearances in the Big Book Catalogs of the 70s. Like here in the Junior Bazaar section of Sears.
Oh no, we simply couldn't get through this post without some plaids!! This time from Wards. Pic is courtesy of Blue Senshi.
What now??? First it was all black and white and now it seemed this post is featuring long dresses. This time from Penneys.
Ahh that's much better.

Random Weirdness: Tunics!!
No, no, no not the kind of tunics that you'd wear to a toga party. Rather tunics were one of those odd little fashion trends of the late 70s....
Kathy and Kay with Kay in a groovy looking tunic from Penneys!!
Tunic with a hoodie, very nice!!
Penneys went a little overboard pushing the tunic look here!
Karen in some black and white tunics. You have to love the pattern. It's like she is wearing an entire flower garden.
More black and white tunic looks.
Tunics weren't just for juniors. Nope, even the ladies got into them.
Sears got into the tunic scene also, except that they call them "Big Tops"
Probably not a good sales tactic to show a Big Top right next to Laura Jones in some Daisy Dukes.
Now Laura is on a Sears Big Top. I think I prefer the daisy dukes.
But nobody did the tunic quite like Penneys!!
Three tunics to choose from!! And the hoodie is back. How come Kay always got to model the tunic with the hoodie? I guess that's one of those 70s mysteries that we will never be known.
