Model Poses: Arm in Arm!!

We've looked at a few of the stranger model poses in past posts:  The Look Down, The Look Away, and The Flamingo among them.  But there's one that is not so much strange as it's, well, nice!!

It's the "Arm In Arm", and when you think about it, it's a little strange, but also, well, nice!!  Karen and Kathy demonstrate it quite well here with the added well known model pose "The Lean In."

Kathy uses the stool to good effect to show off those groovy 70 plaids and platform shoes.  Meanwhile those other Donna and Barbara are doing the Arm In Arm.

Kathy and Jill are locked Arm In Arm on their way to class.  Talk about driving all the college guys crazy!!

Spiegel Tic Tac Toe,..

"Play Tic Tac Toe".  I was confused when I first read that.  Then I realized that hey were referring to the sandals.

At first I thought that since there were three models that they were Tic, Tac and Toe.  Silly me!!

Random Goodness: Bodysuits!!

And it's been WAY too long since we featured bodysuits, time to correct THAT!!

That should erase the image of those leisure suits from the previous posts.  Lesson here is that bodysuits beat leisure suits every time!!

 Sooo, what's the deal with the flowers?!?!?  And why is Kathy the only model without one?!?!

Random Weirdness: Aldens Lovely Loops!!

So what are "lovely loops" you ask????

Apparently they have something to do with jackets.  Yes those loops are quite lovely!!  Especially with Barbara and Kathy showing them off!!

Sizzlin' Summertime Sleepwear - Part 9!!

Of course the Summer sun keep the action sizzlin' on the beach, but the Summer nighttime sizzled too with all the hot and groovy sleepwear form the 70s Big Book Catalogs!!

"Shirting the Issue?"  Certainly not!  Karen, Barbara, Kathy, Kay and friend are scorching hot in these summertime sleepwear fashions from JCP!

I'm sure most of you gravitated to the cute gals on the right thus missing the gigantic V thing on the left which probably stands for Victory.  Or maybe it's a pointer for clueless hubby?!?

There's nothing Outrageous about these gals. And let's face it, Pia, with that giraffe on her sleeper shirt and the lollipop, is looking Uber hot!!

K Club Special - Part 24 Barbara Elliot!!

If you liked your 70s catalog models brunette and cute, you needed to look no farther than Barbara Elliot.

Yeah, there's a whole lot of cuteness going on here!

Although she was always a favorite, I had no idea what her name was for the longest time.  I finally broke down and bought this issue of Seventeen just for that reason (well that and for the articles, just kidding.)

Naturally Barbara was a regular in the Big Book catalogs of the 70s......

I imagine that Barbara got her fair share of attention from all the men. However, the guy on the right is kind of creeping me out.  Hey dude, you gotta be a little more cool and laid back about the approach, even if it is a uber-cutie like Barbara!

Unfortunately like all good things from the 70s, this post has to draw to a close.  Even Barbara seems a bit sad in this pic (despite the groovy red hat!)  Well not to worry, Barbara will continue to appear in various posts in the blog for a long time to come.  After all, the blondes like Kathy and Karen are great, but let's not forget about the cute brunettes!
