K Club Special: Rande Hague, Part 2!!

Rande was one of the "go-to" catalog models in the late 60s and 70s.  And you may remember her for her many appearances in the, uh, "dedicates" sections of those catalogs....

Some great pics, but a big problem is that most of them are in black and white.

See what I mean!!  I don't know what they mean by "flexxtra", better not go there!!

Rande times 8, er, I meant times 4, my bad.  This black and white thing is getting a bit old.

Much better!! A good sampling of your standard undergarments from Penneys.

And from Spiegel too.  Perhaps we've put that black and white trend behind us.

Very nice!!

Oh no, back to the black and white, still a nice pic.  Back then they were called "body briefers."  Now they are know as Spanx.

Well we can't end the post on a black and white pic, that just won't do....

Wow!!  The leopard look cling-a-lings are certainly a colorful way to wrap up this post!!

K Club Special, Part 41 - Rande Hague!!

Confession time.  I've been meaning to do  a K Club Special on Rande's career for some time.  For one reason or another, I've always pushed it back.  Well no more!!

While Rande's name may not ring a bell with many, I'm sure you've seen pics....
Yeah admit it, we have all just happened along the "delicates" section of the Big Book catalogs.  And Rande was a regular there.  In fact she was The Body way, way before Elle MacPherson could claim that title!!

Here is Rande with Peggy Palmer and an unidentified model.  Yep, they are perfectly dressed for a walk through a jungle!!  Well, if you are The Body, why not???

So did Rande appear in other sections of those iconic Big Book catalogs??  Well yes, but so much
Like here where she has a LOT more clothes on!!

Or here modeling some winter robes!!

But mostly she could be found in this section.  After all, she was The Body!!

And when you have a title like that, you have to have the perfect measurements, right down to the head size!!

Hmmm, I guess that these models really were human mannequins!!

And she was able to model like this for a long time...
Here she is in 1966.

And again in 1975!!

And not only was she popular in Penneys and Sears catalogs, she appeared in others like here from Spiegel (yeah, a lot of the pics from those sections of the Big Book catalogs were black and white, which is a shame.)

But they weren't all black and white!  Hmmm, it seems that the other two models are focused on Rande.  Perhaps they were the ones that were "body conscious" of The Body!!

All I can say here is "sweet dreams!"
